This statue of Mary with spread arms is beautifully made from solid Suar wood. Many hours of carving have gone into this wooden model. Everything you see; every shape, bends etc, everything is made by human hands. It is nice to see how the proportions are correct in this image

Suar wood has the property of having contrasting colors. Light colored wood can be right next to dark colored wood. It is normal that these color differences are also visible in this workpiece. Unfortunately, this cannot be complained about.
