This bronze modern statue of an elf with a raised leg has the dimensions 27x47x67cm height and is made by hand using the so-called lost wax method.

This is how it works: a wax model is embedded in a refractory mass such as clay, after which the wax is melted out and the mold is dried. Bronze is then poured into the cavity created. After cooling, the mold is dismantled and the opening through which the bronze was poured into the mold is sawn off, leaving the statue. Finally, the statue is finished by soldering holes closed, grinding away irregularities, and then coloring it with an acid. Larger bronze statues are cast in parts and then welded together, and then ground smooth.

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. The higher the copper content, the higher the quality of the bronze. This statue has a minimum copper content of 75%, which guarantees its durability.
