This bronze statue is made with the molten wax method, an ancient technique. An approximately 3 mm thick layer of wax is applied to the mold, after which the rest of the space is filled with special clay. When the mold preparations are done, liquid bronze is poured into the mold from above, the wax melts and drains; the resulting space is filled with bronze. After cooling, the mold is opened, after which the image is processed, polishing, grinding, removing burrs, etc. For larger bronze sculptures and statues, bronze is cast in parts, after which the parts are very carefully soldered together, the seams are then polished and sanded to a complete bronze object. Bronze sculptures are treated with different acids to get the right color. Each type of acid causes its own oxidation, which will be permanent.

Bronze statues can also be left outside, the statue will become a bit matte, which many people find beautiful, if you want to keep the shine, you should rub the bronze sculpture twice a year with beeswax.
