This bronze object is made in a traditional way with the so-called lost wax method.

This is done as follows: a wax model is embedded in a refractory mass such as clay, after which the wax is melted out and the mold is dried. Bronze is then poured into the resulting cavity. After cooling, the mold is dismantled and the opening through which the bronze is poured into the mold is sawn off and the sculpture remains. Finally, the sculpture is finished by soldering holes, grinding away imperfections and then coloring it with an acid. Larger bronze statues are cast in parts and then welded together, then ground smooth.

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin. The higher the copper content, the higher the quality of the bronze. This statue has a minimum copper content of 75%, with which durability is absolutely guaranteed.

Outdoors, bronze statues will become slightly duller in color, you can get it shiny again by maintaining it with beeswax.
